  17. When I do more complex sorting jobs I write a file and run Unix 'sort' on it.
  18. The output can be comfortably read if you invoke sort in the spirit of
  19.     open ("/usr/bin/sort <parameters>", "rp")
  20. Or are we talking MS-DOS?

  22. Basic sorts on tables, sets, and lists is something I do all the time.
  23. Extremely useful. Icon is already on the verge of being weighed down by features,
  24. so I would not vote for a further complication of 'sort'.
